The hurricane #Harvey has been profoundly difficult to the entire country and most particularly to Texas and Louisiana. All of America is with our fellow citizens still impacted and will be perpetually impacted, by the most horrible natural disaster to hit the USA to date.
It has had a personal impact on the family in Texas. I was born in Ft. Worth, and most of my family is in and around the DFW area. I do have a great niece that lives near Galveston, which is right near the heavily impacted area of Houston. Through the grace of God she is ok, and so is the rest of the family. But a great many others are not so blessed at this hour. On this day of Prayer, implemented by the POTUS, we should be praying for the impacted area….each other across the nation…and our public officials for wisdom and speed in allowing aid to get to where it is needed.
