LRShive is a languishing worker bee that has become an aspiring novelist with a fascination for history and mythologies. She is a person that feels the world has lost much of its understanding of the lessons of history and the ancient cultural/political/religious themes are timeless to fans of mythology. So fascinated is she by history that she decided to go back to college for a Ph.D. in History. Knowing how cultures charted their course into modern times helps us understand the world’s current climate and improve it. LRShive completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2012 and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in early 2015; a Ph.D. in History (2024).
LRShive desires to have an entertaining book that piques the reader’s interest while embarking on the exploration of historical events. Before her efforts on the first novel, she began in 2014 to write episode recaps for the Outlander Starz series for the website ShowBizJunkies.com.
LRShive found a desire to write that had been hidden behind a fear of dyslexic mistakes. Formative school years were challenging, given the fight required to deal with the slow reading, horrible spelling, and ridiculed as stupid. Once the fear was faced and conquered by achieving two different Master’s degrees, the enjoyment of writing came to light. The elevator speech is that she is a Southern Gal with hot sauce in her veins.
